Jen Whitehead – Potter

Jen makes mostly functional pots which are fired in an electric kiln, she uses both Stoneware and Earthenware clays and throws pots on the wheel but also hand builds some of her work. The occasional animal sneaks into Jen’s portfolio but her most popular items are the small bowls with glass in the base. These items can all be found on the gallery page.

Jen has a studio in her back garden where she has two wheels and an electric kiln. A gas kiln is housed in a shed, also in the back garden. You are welcome to visit Jen in her studio at any time just contact herĀ in advance. The studio is open as part of the Cookham and Maidenhead Arts Trail which is held every September.

Over the weekend of 9 – 10 May 2015, Jen will be running some pottery wookshops as part of the Cookham Festival, you can find more information here
